Paddle board rentals

Among the many attractions of Tampa, Florida, Cypress Point Park offers a great place to kayak. There are two launching sites to choose from. The park is also home to a 18-hole disc golf course, a sandy beach area, and a hiking trail.

The area surrounding the park is a favorite for locals. There are picnic areas, a sand volleyball court, and a playground. There is also a small beach, which is not suitable for swimming.

Paddle board rentals are available from local outfitters. For a one-time fee, a shuttle bus will take you to and from the rental site.

Place to launch kayaks/canoes

Located on the shores of Old Tampa Bay, Cypress Point Park is a great place to launch kayaks or canoes. Originally a landfill, this beautiful 35-acre park has been transformed into a natural beach area. There are plenty of amenities to enjoy, including a playground, picnic pavilions, restrooms, and an 18-hole disc golf course.

If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, there are several Class II rapids that are great for thrill-seeking kayakers. In addition to the various water trails, there are also several outfitters that offer tours of the nearby manatees. You can also hike the nature trail and see the sights of the Tampa International Airport.

For more secluded areas, you can take your kayak to the Alafia River, which is only a half hour east of Tampa. The river is tranquil and home to alligators and turtles. Its waters are usually below average water levels.

Another excellent kayaking spot is the Hillsborough River. The state park has a trail that stretches 30 miles, with sections of the river for every level of kayaker. The trail begins at several state parks, and ends at the city of Tampa’s Rowlett Park.

Beach

Located on the west end of Hillsborough Bay, Cypress Point Park is a recreational park in Tampa, Florida. The park features a white sand beach, a variety of trails, picnic areas, a canoe and kayak launch, and a playground.

The Park is open from sunrise to sunset. It offers a blend of trails that are good for walking, biking, and hiking. It also provides fishing opportunities and a beautiful view of the sun setting over Florida.

The Park has ample parking. There are restrooms, showers, and playgrounds. It is a popular spot for people to take a break from their busy lives.

There is also a bus stop and a sabal palm hammock. The Park also has several picnic areas with grills.
